The mechanism of action of the drug associated with its ability to stimulate the alpha1-adrenoceptors, wherein phenylephrine hydrochloride in the form of nasal drops affects receptors located predominantly in vascular smooth muscle layer of the nasal mucosa, the paranasal sinuses and the eustachian tubes to the alpha 1-adrenoceptors located in other organs affected by the drug slightly and preferably at high doses. Due to the impact of the drug Nazol Kids on alpha 1-adrenergic receptors is marked narrowing of the blood vessels, reducing swelling and redness of the mucous membranes of the nose and paranasal sinuses. Furthermore, phenylephrine hydrochloride improves drainage paranasal sinuses normalizing nasal secretion and aerating the middle ear.

The drug Nazol Kids addition of phenylephrine hydrochloride contains glycerol, which promotes wetting and softening of the mucous membranes of the nose, prevents dryness of mucous membranes, which may arise from the use of alpha-agonists.

How to use:
