Naphthyzinum 0,1% 10ml (1 vial)
Indications:
Rhinitis (inflammation of the mucous membranes of the nose), sinusitis (inflammation of the maxillary sinuses), allergic conjunctivitis (inflammation of the outer shell of the eye), the need to stop nasal bleeding.
Pharmacological Effects:
Causes narrowing of the peripheral blood vessels, raises blood pressure, increases pupils. Provides local vasoconstrictor and anti-inflammatory effect (compared with epinephrine for longer).
Naphthyzinum Dosage and administration:
Topically in the form of 0,05% and 0,1% solution, 1-2 drops in the nostril 2-4 times daily. Bleedings tampons soaked 0,05% solution. With conjunctivitis 1-2 drops of 0.05% solution.
Naphthyzinum contraindications:
Arterial hypertension (persistent elevation of blood pressure) expressed in atherosclerosis, and tachycardia.
Naphthyzinum side effects:
Tachycardia (rapid heartbeat), headache.
