Bayer Schering Pharma has submitted a new oral contraceptive yaz (jazz) with a unique mode of reception. Innovative mode is designed to avoid fluctuations on the level of female hormones that remain in the traditional mode of reception (21 active tablets in 7 days or break the 7 tablets with placebo).
Yaz - the first birth control contraceptive, containing in each active tablet 3 mg of the unique progestin drospirenone combined with a very low dose of estrogen (20 mcg ethinyl estradiol). Because of it's properties, drospirenone prevents fluid retention associated with the estrogen component, and thus prevent the emergence of symptoms such as edema, weight gain, bloating, breast tension, etc. Antiandrogenic properties of drospirenone provides a positive effect on the skin, reducing the activity of the sebaceous glands.
Yaz - an innovative contraceptive, giving women the additional non-contraceptive benefits of the missing while taking other oral contraceptives.
