Mode of action: the active ingredient cytisine has N-cholinomimetic action. The drug-ons ganglia autonomic nervous system, stimulates respiration by reflex, and promotes the release of adrenaline from the adrenal medullary portion. The mechanism of action closer to nicotine, which allows to break the habit of smoking. The drug prevents the appearance of abstinence phenomena.

Indications for Use: Apply in chronic smoking (tabagism). It is used for smoking cessation.

How to use: take orally 3 times a day 1 tablet every 2 hours (total of 6 tablets per day. Apply while reducing the number of cigarettes smoked. If the result of the treatment is not satisfactory, then the treatment can be repeated after 2-3 months. With the positive action take the drug as follows:

4 to 12 day - 1 tablet every 2.5 hours (total of 5 tablets per day);
13 - 16 day - 1 tablet every 3 hours (total 4 tablets);
17 - 20 day - 1 tablet every 5 hours (total 3 tablets per day);
21 - 25 day - only to take 1-2 pills a day.

The final cessation of smoking should be 5-th day after the start of treatment.

Side effects: possible dry mouth, altered taste sensation, insomnia, tremor, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, increased irritability, myalgia, abdominal pain, chest pain, a slight increase in blood pressure, weight loss, sweating.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Acute myocardial infarction, arrhythmia, cerebrovascular disease (including recently transferred), unstable angina, atherosclerosis, pregnancy, lactation. Some forms of schizophrenia, an adrenal gland tumor (chromaffin tumor), gastroesophageal reflux.

Pregnancy is contraindicated.

Interactions with other drugs: not recommended in combination with tuberculostatic. There are no data on the interaction Tabksa with other drugs.

Overdose symptoms of nicotine intoxication occurs. Nausea, vomiting, weakness, dilated pupils, tachycardia, respiratory paralysis, convulsions.

Product: tablets are coated.

Storage: Store in a dry place, protected from light. Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 degrees. Keep away from children.

Composition: 1 tablet contains 1.5 mg of cytisine. Excipients: lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, Opadry II, talc.

Extras: simultaneous smoking and use of the drug may increase the side effects. With care taken by people under 18 years of age and older (over 65 years).
